Group Retreats in Southern Spain – A Sacred Space for Inner Transformation
Join Richard Harvey and I for a powerful group retreat in the Alpujarras, southern Spain. These week-long retreats offer a rare opportunity to engage in deep inner work within a safe and supportive group setting.
Rooted in the principles of Sacred Attention Therapy, our retreats guide participants through three essential stages: healing the past, self-discovery, and awakening to the present moment.
Through shared exploration, therapeutic dialogue, and time in nature, you are invited to reconnect with your inner truth, release old patterns, and step into a more conscious, authentic way of being.
No prior experience is necessary—only a sincere willingness to grow.
Retreat Location – Órgiva, Alpujarras, Andalusia
Nestled between the Sierra Nevada and the Sierra de Lújar mountains, Órgiva is more than just a village — it’s a meeting point for those in search of something deeper. Artists, healers, nomads, and seekers from all over the world have found their way here, drawn by something hard to name but easy to feel.
There’s a distinctly alternative, even “hippie” energy to this place. You’ll find holistic cafés, barefoot walkers, biodynamic gardens, spontaneous music, and shared silence. But beyond the lifestyle, there is a deeper atmosphere — something spiritual in the land itself. It invites reflection, honesty, and connection with what is real.
This is where the retreats take place.
Surrounded by olive trees, mountain views, and ancient stillness, you are held by nature and spaciousness. Days follow a gentle rhythm: a morning on the terrace, one-to-one therapy, long walks, time alone. The land supports your inner process — not by distracting, but by allowing.
We stay in traditional Andalusian homes — simple, quiet, with sunlit patios and space for rest, writing, or watching the sky shift. It’s not luxurious. It’s honest. And that’s the gift.
2025 Retreat Schedule
July 23rd to 25th (Online)
This three-day online intensive group retreat gives you an overview of the three stages of awakening, a psycho-spiritual map for serious seekers, through which you may unlock your psychological and spiritual potential through process work, skillful guidance and enlightened teaching.
September 17th to 19th (Online)
This three-day online intensive group retreat dives deeply into the three stages of awakening, challenging you to identify where you are and what steps you need to take to progress through each stage. We identify your holdings, attachments and resistance through systematically bringing intense focus to each of the stages in turn.
November 12th to 14th (Online)
This three-day online intensive retreat takes the themes of integration and stabilisation, which together consolidate your work on the psycho-spiritual map of the three stages of awakening. So often spiritual work is sabotaged by the absence of this crucial part of the process. The work and progress you have made in three-stage work must be allowed to settle in your inner being so that the new center of freedom, authenticity and truth is recognised mentally, emotionally and physically as your new center of being as you realise your psychological and spiritual potential.

About me
I accompany individuals and couples on their journey of inner work, self-discovery, and emotional healing.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent over a decade working as a corporate lawyer in both large organizations and start-ups. Over time, a deeper call emerged—one that led me to begin my own path of inner exploration and transformation.
This calling brought me to psychotherapy. After five years of intensive training, I chose to fully dedicate myself to therapeutic work in 2016, and I have found it deeply fulfilling ever since.
As a therapist, my role is not to teach or lead, but to walk alongside my clients with presence, care, and respect.
I am also a wife, mother, and stepmother, and I know from lived experience how complex, beautiful, and challenging inner growth and human relationships can be.
I work primarily with international clients in both English and French. Individual sessions are mostly online, though I also meet clients in person in Andalucía, southern Spain. I offer retreats in Andalucía and engage in regular supervision to support and deepen my practice.
“Agnès embodies the two essential qualities of the skilled and seasoned therapist – authenticity and compassion. With heart-felt attention and incomparable realness, she is able to work through complex unconscious material in the psyche, help her clients to heal their unresolved emotional wounds, and through wisdom and insight inspire spiritual growth and development in an integrated and grounded way. Her work is both profoundly healing and deeply transformative.”
Richard Harvey, psycho-spiritual psychotherapist and spiritual teacher
FAQ
-
Group sessions are a space to explore yourself in relation to others. We begin with grounding, followed by inquiry or guided exercises. You may be invited to speak, reflect, or simply listen. What matters is presence. The group becomes a mirror — revealing patterns, beliefs, and parts of you that may not surface in individual work.
-
Yes — in different ways. Group therapy allows you to see how you show up in connection, how you hide, defend, or long to be seen. It offers the chance to break old relational patterns, receive support, and experience real contact. The group field often accelerates healing.
-
No one is forced to speak. Your participation unfolds in your own time. Silence is also a form of presence. Often, what someone else shares will resonate with something in you — and that’s part of the process.
-
People who feel called to inner work. Some come with specific issues — grief, anxiety, relationship pain. Others come for self-discovery or to deepen ongoing therapy. What unites the group is a shared willingness to explore truthfully.
-
I keep groups intimate — usually 8 people. This allows for depth, connection, and safety. Whether in a two-hour session or a retreat, the size supports everyone being seen and heard.
-
Yes. All group members agree to strict confidentiality. What’s shared in the group stays in the group. This creates a container of trust.
-
Retreats offer extended time — usually a full week — to dive into deeper layers. There’s more silence, embodiment, and space for integration. Group sessions, whether weekly or monthly, are shorter but still powerful. Both formats support emotional healing, self-awareness, and transformation.
-
Completely. Most people feel some fear or resistance before joining. That’s part of what the group helps with. We explore what makes connection difficult — and what becomes possible when you stay with it.
